I was born in West Virginia, grew up in Chicago and now live in Tennessee. Painting has been my passion since high school and led me to study at several Chicago art schools and then to private study with a Chicago artist with a Masters Degree from the School of the Art Institute. I have also taught adult classes and find that I learn as much teaching as I do studying. My paintings have sold internationally and throughout the United States. My work is created intuitively and is always an expression of the thoughts and feeling I am experiencing. As learn to dig deeper and increasingly release control, my work becomes more authentic and original.
